FEES

FEES below relate to 60 minute sessions. For sessions longer than 60 minutes a higher fee is charged.
  1. Standard Appointment: $180.00
  2. Lower Income Fee: $150.00
  3. Saturday Appointment: $200.00  
  4. Professional Supervision: $150 + GST  
  5. Reports: Charged at $150 per hour
A Medicare Rebate of $87.25 is available with a Mental Health Care Plan from a GP or Psychiatrist. This will reduce the cost of sessions. Full payment for sessions is required before the Medicare Rebate can be organised. 
As a small business:
I do accept private paying clients.  
I do accept Mental Health Care Plans.
I do accept National Redress clients. 
I do not provide Bulk Billing. 
I do not accept NDIS referrals.
I do not accept WorkCover referrals.
I do not accept Family Court or DOCS related referrals.
I do not write reports for Court, Centrelink, or Dept of Housing. 
Bulk billing is not available. The costs of running a private business are exorbitant and the provision of bulk billing would make the business unsustainable. 


With a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) from your GP or Psychiatrist you are eligible for up to 10 sessions of psychological counselling in a calendar year. Psychological counselling assistance provided under the Medicare Better Access Program will enable you to receive a Medicare rebate of $85.20 per session. If you want to claim the Medicare rebate you must bring your MHCP and Medicare Card to your first counselling appointment.

 
You don't like paying a cancellation fee and I don't like charging you one. However, your booked session has been put aside specifically for you and your needs and I will be there for you. Mutual respect is appreciated. 

If you can’t attend it would be helpful to know this as soon as possible so that other clients can be booked in to the session you no longer require. 

Cancellation of a session requires 48 hours notice prior to the booked appointment. If you do not provide at least 48 hours notice of cancellation you will be charged $100. 

If you forget or do not show up for the booked session you will be charged the full session fee as I am sitting in the office waiting for you.

No further appointment will be booked until the cancellation fee is paid.

 
Private Health Counselling Insurance benefits are currently possible for Members of:

  1. Teachers Health 
  2. UniHealth 
  3. Nurses and Midwives Health
