I offer evidence based trauma therapy to women who have experienced childhood trauma which, at times, may affect your physical & mental health, emotional & psychological wellbeing, self-confidence, relationships, and overall challenges with daily life. Having walked this path myself, I know that healing from the impact of anxiety and traumatic life events naturally unfolds when we slow down, listen deeply, and meet ourselves with kindness. My therapy approach recognises that unresolved trauma is held in the body, the heart, and the mind. By utilising Mindfulness, Somatic Experiencing®, EMDR, and Buddhist wisdom concepts such as Loving Kindness and Self-Compassion, therapy with me will enable your brain and nervous system to release trauma memories, negative self-criticism, and behaviours that no longer serve you — safely, slowly, & with care. With compassion sprinkled with down-to-earth Maori humour I will help you to understand and process the impact of adverse childhood experiences without re-traumatisation.
Trauma can shape how we think, feel, and relate — often in ways we don’t fully understand. You may notice anxiety, emotional overwhelm, negative self-beliefs, physical tension, relationship difficulties, or a deep sense that something isn’t quite right. If this resonates, you are not broken - and you are not alone.
Greater calm, safety, and emotional balance A deeper connection to your body and inner Self Relief from stress, anxiety, and trauma patterns Increased self-compassion, clarity, and meaning A return to wholeness, joy, and authenticity
